Pumkin is a product of Software For Humans, LLC, operated by Lewis LaBrie ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit pumkin.app or buy a Pumkin license, why we collect it, who processes it, and the rights you have over it. Questions: hi@pumkin.app.

The short version

The Pumkin desktop app runs entirely on your machine. Your prompts, your models, your files, and your agent runs never reach us — there is no Pumkin cloud and no telemetry on your agent activity. The only personal data we hold is what's needed to sell you a license and deliver your download: your email, name, and payment confirmation.

What we collect

• Purchase information. When you buy a license, we receive your email address, name (if provided), and details of the transaction (amount, currency, a Stripe payment/session reference, and your founding-member number). We do not receive or store your full card number — payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe.
• Download activity. We generate a unique download token tied to your purchase and record how many times it's used, so we can deliver and re-deliver your installer.
• Email correspondence. If you email us for support, we keep that correspondence to help you.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may process standard technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to serve the site securely. We do not use this for tracking or advertising.

What we do NOT do

• We do not run advertising or third-party tracking pixels on this site.
• We do not collect any data from inside the Pumkin desktop application.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Why we process it (legal bases)

We process your purchase and download data to perform our contract with you (selling and delivering the license). We process support emails and keep transaction records under our legitimate interests in running the business and our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting record-keeping).

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database storing your order record (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt region).
• Resend — sending your welcome/download email.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• DigitalOcean — storage and delivery of the installer file.

Each operates under its own privacy terms. Some may process data outside your country; where that happens, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your order record for as long as you hold a license and as long as required for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (subject to record-keeping obligations) — see below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hi@pumkin.app and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Pumkin is a developer tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
